Better Than The Movie Book Club meets to discuss a new buzzy book that has an upcoming film or TV adaptation. When everyone else is talking about it, we can say we actually read the book first.

This month we are reading a thrilling science fiction titled Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. Mickey7, an employee considered expendable, is sent on yet another life-threatening mission after already having died six times on similar trips. This time he returns home after already assumed dead and must live a secret life or risk extermination. This story will be coming to theaters on March 29th, 2023 and is starring Robert Pattinson, Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo, and Naomi Ackie.

Books will be ready for pick-up on Tuesday, February 27, 2024

* All attendees must be 18+. Registration opens Thursday, February 1st.

* Please contact the library by phone (970-686-5603) or email (programs@clearviewlibrary.org) to cancel your reservation 24 hours in advance if you are no longer able to participate in a registered event. Registration is not transferable upon cancellation.

* Failure to return your book at the end of the month can result in a fine added to your account in the amount of $10 for paperback or $15 for hardback copies.
