Survival

Join us in person for Not Your Boring Book Club every Tuesday from 4:30-5:30 beginning April 9 to April 30, 2024.

This is no ordinary book club! During this session we will be reading books about survival. You get to choose the book you want to read from a selection of three books: Ellie’s Story by W. Bruce Cameron, Hatchet by Gary Paulsen, and I Survived Hurricane Katrina 2005 by Lauren Tarshis.

We will read and talk about the books, but we will also build an island escape using Lego bricks, make delicious camp style snacks, and test our engineering skills during a hurricane STEM challenge.

Please note that this program is registration-based only; each child needs to be registered separately using their first and last name. Photographs taken during this event may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
