Come have fun with food at the library!
During Kids in the Kitchen, you will learn to make and try new foods that you can also make for your family at home! Participants will experiment with all types of cooking styles, ingredients, recipes, and techniques.
In this first session of Kids in the Kitchen, we’ll be prepping ingredients and assembling our own delicious yogurt parfaits. Kids will have the opportunity to taste test two different kinds of yogurt and pick out the fruit they would like to include in their parfait. A great after school snack!
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Kids in the Kitchen. Weeks three and four of Kids in the Kitchen will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child’s first and last name. We will meet in the Cottonwood Room of the Severance Library.
Please note: At this time we are unable to accommodate food allergies.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
