Young Scientists is a program for kids who want to explore and learn about the world around them through experimentation and inquiry!
Get ready to ride a roller coaster of your very own design! If you have ever gone for a ride on a roller coaster and wished that it had more - or less - twists, loops, and turns, then this session of Young Scientists is for you. Come explore the physics of roller coasters as we construct exciting coasters from just paper and tape.
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We will meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Weird Science. Weeks three and four of Weird Science will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
Please email Asa at asa@clearviewlibrary.org with any questions.
