Young Scientists is a program for kids who want to explore and learn about the world around them through experimentation and inquiry!
Rocket science is known for being difficult, but this program is sure to be a blast! In Young Scientists, sometimes the act of ‘tinkering’ - experimenting and testing our ideas as we improve a project, is an important part of our learning process. In this session, we will tinker with rockets as we attempt to engineer them to fly as high as possible!
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We will meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Weird Science. Weeks three and four of Weird Science will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
