Family Art Challenge is a program for families to connect over creativity and a shared project!
This month's challenge is to make Alebrijes, colorful folk art that originated in Mexico. Alebrijes combines two or more creatures into one fantasy creature. Imagine a fish with legs or a bird with horns! Join Trisha on our Facebook page on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. to learn more about September's Family Art Challenge. We want to see your family’s creativity shine! Space is limited so please only register once per family.
Kits for this program will be available for pickup beginning September 3, 2024 and will include some basic supplies to begin your challenge. You may pick up your kit at either library branch (Windsor or Severance) during regular business hours.
Once you have completed your project, please return it to the library no later than September 30, 2024. All art submissions will be on display in the Windsor Library throughout the month of October! The winner of this challenge will receive a gift card to take their family on an outing.
Please contact Trisha at trisha@clearviewlibrary.org with questions or for more information.
