Not Your Boring Book Club

Spooky Stories

This is no ordinary book club! Join us in person for Not Your Boring Book Club every Tuesday from 4:30-5:30 from September 10 to October 1.

During this session we will get ready for fall with some spooky stories! You get to choose the book you want to read from three options: Babysitting Nightmares #1: The Shadow Hand by Kat Shepherd, Small Spaces by Katherine Arden, and The Ghoul Next Door (Graphic Novel) by Cullen Bunn & Cat Farris (Illustrator).

We will read and talk about the books, but we will also: escape from a “haunted” house, create “frankentoys” out of old treasures, and compete in a spooky STEM challenge.

Tween programs are offered for kids ages 9-12. Registration is required.

Please complete both of the following steps to complete registration for this program:

STEP 1: Click on the “Register” button to register. Each child must be registered separately using their first and last name.

STEP 2: Click here to read about each book and make your selection. Please complete one form for each child using their first and last name.

Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
