Welcome to our inclusive book club just for teens!
The focus of this informal book club is to engage in meaningful conversation with your friends while talking about books that we'll choose together. In this book club, we’ll choose books that feature characters who feel marginalized and like they don’t fit in. We may read about characters who don’t fit in because of gender identity, physical ability, race, sexual orientation, or body image.
Our book club is a safe space to hang out with your old friends and meet new ones. We’ll offer an activity while we share our thoughts about the book and the issues it brings up. Activities may include making friendship bracelets, origami, or creating bookmarks. Join in on the fun and you may just see yourself on the page of a book.
We’ll meet on October 2 and October 16 in the Teen Tower in the Windsor Library. We’ll provide the book for you at our first meeting on October 2.
Registration is required.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
