Not Your Boring Book Club

Kid Detectives

This is no ordinary book club! Join us in person for Not Your Boring Book Club on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 from November 5 through December 3, 2024 (no session on November 26!).

During this session, we will explore the science of deduction as we follow along with a collection of clever and brave kid detectives! You get to choose the book you want to read from three options: The Newspaper Club by Beth Vrabel, Trouble at the Tangerine by Gillian McDunn, and Shirley & Jamila Save Their Summer (Graphic Novel) by Gillian Goerz.

We will read and talk about the books, but we will also throw an ice cream party, record a mini-NYBBC reader podcast, and solve a mystery of our own!

Tween programs are offered for kids ages 9-12. Registration is required.

Please complete both of the following steps to register for this program:

Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
