Portraits & Photo Basics

Teens, welcome to our monthly crafting sessions where we'll explore various art techniques.

This month, we’ll learn the basics of taking great photos, covering tips on lighting, composition, and capturing personality. While we’re learning, each person will have an individual portrait taken — perfect for gift-giving! These won’t be ordinary snapshots; they’ll be artistic portraits that make you shine. Whether you’re here to improve your photography or just want a great photo, this workshop is all about creating something special.

Registration is encouraged; by registering you will receive a program reminder email. Maximum attendance is contingent on program capacity. 

We will meet in the Cottonwood room at the Severance Library.

Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.

Teen programs are offered for ages 12-18 only with no exceptions.
