Whether our beloved bookmobile is in your neighborhood, at your school, or building connections at your favorite community event, our trusty mobile library meets you where you are to cultivate curiosity, enlighten the mind, and strengthen the community. We're excited to celebrate the bookmobile with you!
Starting at 12 p.m., we'll feature the following attractions:
- Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue and the Sparky Van will join us and hand out free swag.
- The Town of Windsor Museum will feature a booth set up for kids to explore.
- School of Rock will feature their student and teacher band to play rockin' tunes for all to enjoy.
- Fanciful Faces will be available to paint faces.
- A bounce house will be provided for kids.
- Dance your heart out on our video gaming dance pad.
- Try your hand at crayon javelin, cornhole, and many other games.
- Celebrate the arts by visiting all of our craft stations and contribute to our community art project.
Visit all of the booths and receive a ticket for the chance to win gift cards to: Happy Yogi, Words of Windsor, Heroes and Horrors, Windsor Lake Coffee, Pelican Joe's Pizzeria, and tickets to see the Future Legends Owlz and Rain teams.
And don't forget our annual Community Chili Cook-Off! Local organizations, businesses, and home chefs will provide a variety of chili recipes for you to sample and vote for your favorite recipe! Do you want to earn bragging rights for having the best chili in our District? We are seeking contestants to participate in this year's chili cook-off. If you are interested in submitting a pot of chili, please fill out this form, and our chili coordinator, Christy, will be in touch with you to provide further details.
