Fame is nice, but what about infamy? Edgy Pages is a club for exploring books that are the stuff of controversy and scandal, or inherently provocative.

Patti Smith's Just Kids begins as a love story and ends as an elegy. Beautifully written, this is a profound portrait of two young artists, often hungry, sated only by art and experience. And an unforgettable portrait of New York, her rich and poor, hustlers and hellions, those who made it and those whose memory lingers near.

 

Books will be ready for pick-up on Tuesday, May 20, 2025.

* To cancel your reservation, contact the library by phone or email (programs@clearviewlibrary.org) 24 hours in advance. Failure to return your book at the end of the month may result in a $10 fine for paperbacks or $15 for hardbacks.

* All attendees must be 18+. Registration is required to receive a copy of the title. Books not picked up after 7 days of the pick up notification date will result in a cancellation of registration to accommodate waitlists.
