Fame is nice, but what about infamy? Edgy Pages is a club for exploring books that are the stuff of controversy and scandal, or inherently provocative.
Janelle Brown’s novel, What Kind of Paradise, explores the tension between isolation and connection in a world on the brink of the digital age. Raised off the grid in a remote Montana cabin, Jane's world is shaped by her father's strict ideals and hidden past. When she uncovers a disturbing truth, she flees to San Francisco in search of answers—about her mother, her identity, and the dark secrets her father kept.
