History by the Book meets to discuss historical fiction and non-fiction books. We explore the deeper stories behind historical events and periods in the past.

Thrillingly paced and rigorously researched, Book and Dagger is an inspiring and gripping true story about a group of academics who helped beat the Nazis -- a tale that reveals the indelible power of the humanities to change the world.

Registration is required to receive a book. All attendees must be 18+. Already read this book? Skip registration and join us for the discussion! 

Books will be ready for pick-up beginning Thursday, December 18th. Books not picked up within 7 days of the pick-up notification email will result in a cancellation of registration to accommodate waitlists.

To cancel your registration, please email programs@clearviewlibrary.org or call the library (970-686-5603) at least 24 hours before the book club date. Books must be returned on or before the book club date. 

Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
