Type 2 Diabetes Prevention

Pikes PeakJoin UCHealth to learn about the risk factors and prevention of Type 2 diabetes.
In this session, a Registered Dietician from UCHealth’s Diabetes and Medical Nutrition Therapy department will explain what pre-diabetes is and how it progresses to Type 2. Participants will learn about the risk factors and long-term problems associated with diabetes, as well as how physical activity, good nutrition, and weight loss can lower blood glucose and contribute to prevention.

A light lunch will be provided. PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accommodate food allergies at this time.
