Join us online for Reading Bugs Fridays at 4 p.m. Geared for ages 6-8, we'll be reading Time Jumpers: Stealing the Sword by Wendy Mass.
Reading Bugs is a 4-week book club that fosters the love of books and reading and provides an engaging environment for 6-8 year old's to communicate, learn, make and play. Registration is required. Please note that you only need to register ONCE for the entire series.
Adventure waits for no one! Chase and Ava find an old suitcase filled with strange objects. One of the objects looks like a dragon-headed doorknob. Suddenly, Chase and Ava find themselves jumping back in time to King Arthur's castle! This series is part of Scholastic's early chapter book line, Branches, aimed at newly independent readers.
Kits for this online program will be available for pickup beginning Friday, January 7 and will include a free copy of the book, as well as supplies for activities and crafts that will take place during the program. You may pick up your kit at the library, or call ahead to arrange Library Takeout.
Please note that this program is registration-based only and each child needs to be registered separately. Once you have registered for the program, we will send you a link to join the book club via Zoom every Friday at 4 p.m. January 14 to February 4, 2022.
Parents will be contacted via phone or email to provide permission for their child to participate via Zoom.
Photographs taken during virtual library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please turn your camera off when a picture is taken.
