Dive into Summer: Bookmobile Day and Chili Cook-off!
Celebrate Bookmobile Day this May 7 from 12-2 p.m., at the Boardwalk Park Market Pavilion, 100 N. 5th St, Windsor.
Whether our beloved bookmobile is in your neighborhood, at your school, or building connections at your favorite community event, the trusty mobile library meets you where you are to cultivate curiosity, enlighten the mind, and strengthen the community.
Starting at 12:00 p.m., Mermaid Trina will be available for storytimes and photo opportunities throughout the event. At 12:30 p.m., join us for the Yo Ho Ho Pirate Show with Ann Lincoln Entertainment, a one of a kind performance including juggling, magic, and comedy. Miss Nancy will take you on a guided walk and tell you a tale about a small, small pond.
Fanciful Faces will be there to turn you into your favorite ocean creature. There will also be fun and engaging games and crafts! And don’t forget to visit the star of the day, our bookmobile!
Additionally, we are excited to bring our Community Chili Cook-off back! Local organizations and businesses will have various types of chili for you to sample and vote for your favorite recipe.
