California’s gold country, 1850. A time when men sold their souls for a bag of gold and women sold their bodies for a place to sleep. Angel expects nothing from men but betrayal. Better Than The Movie Book Club meets to discuss a new buzzy book that has an upcoming film or TV adaptation. When everyone else is talking about it, we can say we actually read the book first.
