Join us online for Reading Bugs Fridays at 4 p.m. Geared for ages 6-8, we'll be reading The Magic School Bus Chapter Book: The Great Shark Escape by Jennifer Johnston.
Reading Bugs is a 4-week book club that fosters the love of books and reading and provides an engaging environment for 6-8 year old's to communicate, learn, make and play. Registration is required. Please note that you only need to register ONCE for the entire series.
A class trip to the aquarium winds up in the depths of the ocean as Ms. Frizzle's class must escape the jaws of a great white shark! During their adventure, Ms. Frizzle teaches the class about different shark species, including the goblin shark, angel shark, whale shark, and others.
Kits for this online program will be available for pickup beginning Friday, July 1 and will include a free copy of the book, as well as supplies for activities and crafts that will take place during the program. You may pick up your kit at the library, or call ahead to arrange Library Takeout.
Please note that this program is registration-based only and each child needs to be registered separately. Once you have registered for the program, we will send you a link to join the book club via Zoom every Friday at 4 p.m. July 8 - July 29, 2022.
Parents will be contacted via phone or email to provide permission for their child to participate via Zoom.
Photographs taken during virtual library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please turn your camera off when a picture is taken.
