Art Like an Illustrator

Color Mixing with Leo Lionni

Art Like an Illustrator gives kids a chance to create all types of art inspired by children’s illustrators! Each session we will focus on a different illustrator by reading a book (or two) that they illustrated and then we'll dive into an art project in their style.

In this session, we will explore some of Leo Lionni's most loved books and learn about his art style that includes patches of color. Kiddos will then experiment with color mixing and create collages in Mr. Lionni's colorful style.

For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We will meet in the large meeting room of the Windsor-Severance Library.

Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity.
