It’s a small world on our big bookmobile!
Come celebrate our annual Bookmobile Day and Chili Cook-off on May 20th from 12-2 p.m., at the Clearview Library District parking lot located at 720 3rd St, Windsor.
Whether our beloved bookmobile is in your neighborhood, at your school, or building connections at your favorite community event, our trusty mobile library meets you where you are to cultivate curiosity, enlighten the mind and strengthen the community.
At this year's event, we'll feature: Windsor Severance Fire Rescue with the Sparky Van and free swag; CSU Weld County Extension will have a table with hands-on activities for kids; a Dutch roaming minstrel will fill the air with wonderful music; Fanciful Faces will paint your face into whatever you wish; our virtual reality table will allow you to visit towns around the world; and the Town of Windsor Museums will have a booth set up for kids to explore. And don’t forget to visit the star of the day, our bookmobile!
Our annual Community Chili Cook-off will be happening as well! Local organizations, businesses and home chefs will have a variety of chili recipes from across the globe for you to sample. Do you want to showcase your chili recipe or earn bragging rights for having the best chili in our region? We are seeking contestants to participate in this year's cook-off.
