Weird Science offers kids the opportunity to explore the crazy world of STEM through experimentation, teamwork, creativity, inquiry, and innovation!
Do you eat with your ears? How do the sounds of eating impact your enjoyment of food? During this session of Weird Science participants will be experimenting with auditory filters to see how it changes their eating experience. Participants should come ready for a snack!
PLEASE NOTE: At this time we are unable to accommodate food allergies. If you have severe allergies to gluten, dairy, and/or nuts, this class might not be for you. If you have these allergies, please email Amy and we will try to offer an allergy friendly class in the future.
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. This week we’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Weird Science. Weeks three and four of Weird Science will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
