Weird Science offers kids the opportunity to explore the crazy world of STEM through experimentation, teamwork, creativity, inquiry, and innovation!
Take a deep breath, you’re going to need it for this session of Weird Science! Participants will be creating their very own paper rocket with the only source of propulsion being the air from their lungs. We will experiment with improving our designs and will see just how far we can launch our rockets. Three, two, one, blastoff!
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. This week we’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Weird Science. Weeks three and four of Weird Science will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
