Each month in Lil STEAM, we will read a story and then explore a theme from the story with a STEAM related activity.
It is time to get digging! After reading the book The Surprise Garden by Zoe Hall, we will plant our own seeds to take home, make the tallest “plant” using everyday materials, and dig up colors and letters to match the flowers in the garden pots. Join us this week wearing clothes/shoes that can get messy!
For ages 3-5. Registration required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name.
Lil STEAM is offered twice a month. The same program theme will be offered in each instance; we kindly ask that you register for only one offering per month so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program. This week we will be meeting in the grassy area between Mountain View Elementary School and the Windsor-Severance Library.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity.
Please contact Diana at diana@clearviewlibrary.org for more information.
If weather is inclement, please watch our website for delays, cancellations, and/or rescheduling information.
