Getting Crafty offers kids the opportunity to tap into their creativity through critical thinking, imagination, and artistic expression!
Keep a lookout on the horizon for this session of Getting Crafty! The waters may be perilous, but a lighthouse can keep us safe. Participants can look forward to a fun lighthouse craft inspired by Sophie Blackall's Caldecott Medal winning book Hello Lighthouse that is sure to brighten up your summer.
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. Please note this session of Art Like an Illustrator will take place in the exhibit space of the Windsor Art & Heritage Center.
This month's challenge is offered in conjunction with Town of Windsor Parks, Recreation, and Culture and the upcoming Young at Art exhibit that will be held at the Art and Heritage Center starting in July. Please be aware that the second session of this program, on Tuesday, July 25, will take place at the Arts and Heritage Center, located at 116 5th St. in Windsor.

Weeks three and four of Getting Crafty will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
