History by the Book meets to discuss historical fiction and non-fiction books. We explore the deeper stories behind historical events and periods in the past.
An illustrated chronicle of survival and legacy.
Maus is a haunting tale within a tale, weaving the author’s account of his tortured relationship with his aging father into an astonishing retelling of one of history's most unspeakable tragedies. The first ever graphic novel to win a Pulitzer Prize, Maus is an unforgettable story of survival and a disarming look at the legacy of trauma.
