Getting Crafty offers kids the opportunity to tap into their creativity through critical thinking, imagination, and artistic expression!
As this month’s solar eclipse approaches, this session of Getting Crafty will task participants with astronomically fun crafts! Participants can expect to create solar eclipse inspired art in addition to other eclipse-themed activities before leaving with eclipse glasses to ensure they are ready to safely view the solar eclipse on October 14.
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. This week we’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Getting Crafty. Weeks three and four of Getting Crafty will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
