Learn practical skills that will help you succeed in whatever the future holds.
Adulting is hard, but Adulting 101 at the Clearview Library District can make it easier (and more fun)! This program will help you learn new skills to be independent and confident as you take on the world. Each session will offer the opportunity to explore a new topic, ranging from lifesaving skills to car maintenance to resume writing and interview prep.
Save a life! Join us for the first Adulting 101 session with a Family & Friends® CPR class taught by a Windsor Severance Fire Rescue educator. Learn vital cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills and be ready to respond in emergency situations. This program is designed by the American Heart Association to teach lifesaving skills in a group environment with hands-on CPR practice time. This knowledge is helpful- and often required- when seeking jobs, such as for babysitting and lifeguarding. Please note that this is a training course; participants will not receive an official certification of skills.
Registration required. For this session, we will meet in the Teen Space at the Windsor-Severance Library.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
