Getting Crafty offers kids the opportunity to tap into their creativity through critical thinking, imagination, and artistic expression!
In this session of Getting Crafty, we will be making personalized poetry through the creative repurposing of recycled comics and books. With the magic of collage and comics as our foundation, we will explore our creativity and inspire new meaning from existing works!
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We will meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Getting Crafty. Weeks three and four of Getting Crafty will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
