Lego Engineers offers kids the chance to take part in creativity, problem solving, innovation, and teamwork with Legos! Open to elementary-aged children, as well as tweens ages 9-12.
In Lego Engineers, we love building interstellar spaceships, soaring airplanes, and fast cars. While fast-moving vehicles are exciting, this challenge will task Lego Engineers to design the slowest cars possible. After testing out different methods of slowing our cars down, we will put them to the test of rolling them down a ramp at a glacial pace.
Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child’s first and last name. We’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room at the Windsor Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Lego Engineers. Weeks three and four of Lego Engineers will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
