Join us to learn how happiness shines yellow like the sun and love sparkles like red!
Join us on Thursday and Friday mornings in June and July for our Color My Summer series, part of our Summer Adventure Program: Color Our World. Each program is unique and will offer a variety of experiences. Programs will be held on Thursday mornings at our Windsor Library and Friday mornings at our Severance Library.
This program, inspired by the book The Color Monster by Anna Llena, helps children understand and express their emotions by exploring the colorful world of feelings. Using different colors representing various emotions — like yellow for happiness, blue for sadness, and red for anger — children will participate in activities that allow them to identify, label, and understand their feelings.
This program will be held in the Pikes Peak Room and the parking lot at the Windsor Library.
No registration required. This program is open house style. Come anytime between 10am and 12pm but allow about 45 minutes to enjoy all our activities. Craft supplies will be available for the first 100 children but there will be lots of other activities and games to participate in.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
