Pikes PeakLearn how to navigate today’s complicated health information landscape and dig up the details you can trust.
In this session, Dr. Danielle Siegel will discuss the concept of health literacy, explore why health information may change over time, share tips for recognizing red flags and identifying trustworthy sources, and more. Dr. Siegel holds a PhD in biomedical engineering, conducts research in a clinical setting, and focuses on making research and complex health information accessible and understandable for the public.
Registration is not required, but attendees can register to receive a reminder for the program. Maximum attendance is contingent on program capacity. All attendees must be 18+.
