We will learn how 0’s and 1’s are translated into letters by computers before translating our own names with the binary alphabet. Attending scientists will leave with a binary code name tag!
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We’ll meet in the large meeting room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that, moving forward, we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Weird Science. Weeks three and four of Weird Science will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
