Art Like an Illustrator gives kids a chance to create all types of art inspired by children’s illustrators! Each session we will focus on a different illustrator by reading a book (or two) that they illustrated and then we'll dive into an art project in their style.
What do you think a monster looks like? Illustrator Daisy Hirst’s monsters might look different, and a lot less scary, than what you have in mind! During this session of Art Like an Illustrator, we will be creating monsters from our imaginations and will dress them up with the help of some magazine collaging. No need to be scared!
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We will meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
