Each month in Lil STEAM, we will read a story and then explore a theme from the story with a STEAM related activity.
When you look at the clouds what do you see? A bird? A tree? The inspiration for this session of Lil Steam comes from the book It Looked Like Spilt Milk by Charles G. Shaw. After hearing the story, we will create our own cloud pictures using paint and paper. We will also create a cloud in a jar and watch it rain! Join us this week wearing clothes/shoes that can get messy!
For ages 3-5. Registration required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name.
Lil STEAM is offered twice a month. The same program theme will be offered in each instance; we kindly ask that you register for only one offering per month so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program. This week we will be meeting in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
