The Irish Boarding House by Sandy Taylor

A heart-wrenching story full of family secrets.

When Mary Kate Ryan receives a surprise inheritance from the woman who abandoned her as a tiny baby, she’s stunned. She is about to refuse the money when she sees a beautiful, deserted house for sale and something sparks in her heart. She will reawaken it, as the Dublin Boarding House for Single Ladies, and provide a shelter for others as lost and alone as her.

History by the Book meets to discuss historical fiction and non-fiction books. We explore the deeper stories behind historical events and periods in the past.

*Registration required. Registration opens Monday, May 1st. Registration is not transferable upon cancellation.

*Books for registered patrons will be available for pick up starting on Thursday, May 18th. 

*Please contact the library by phone (970-686-5603 ex. 323) or email to cancel your reservation if you are no longer able to participate in a registered event. Failure to attend the event without providing a cancellation notice will result in a $5 fine being added to your library account.
