We Dream in STEAM is an engaging program for tweens who love to learn more about the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
Did you ever wonder why a solar eclipse occurs or how it happens? During this session you will conduct an experiment to explore shadows and the important role they play during an eclipse. You will also construct a pin hole viewer that will enable you to watch the solar eclipse this year on Saturday, October 14, 2023! Finally, you will receive a take and make kit to create your very own sun clock at home.
For tweens ages 9-12. Registration is required. This month we’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
This series is conducted with our CSU 4H youth development partner, Patrick Pulis. For more information about our community partner, please visit http://co4h.colostate.edu/.
