Art Like an Illustrator gives kids a chance to create all types of art inspired by children’s illustrators!
Each session we will focus on a different illustrator by reading a book (or two) that they illustrated and then we'll dive into an art project in their style.
It’s no coincidence that some animals match their habitats so well; camouflage is an important part of how animals hunt and survive! Can these cleverly camouflaged animals present us with an opportunity to create art? Join us for this session of Art Like an Illustrator, as we take inspiration from Mac Barnett and Shawn Harris’ book, A Polar Bear in the Snow, to create some camouflaged collages!
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We will meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity.
