Weird Science offers kids the opportunity to explore the crazy world of STEM through experimentation, teamwork, creativity, inquiry, and innovation!
Computers make things seem so easy! Even something as seemingly simple as sending and receiving a picture requires a lot more than meets the eye. In this session of Weird Science, we will attempt to transmit pixelated images of our own to compare how efficient and fast we are compared to a computer.
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. This week we’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Weird Science. Weeks three and four of Weird Science will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
Please note that due to a programming break, there are only two sessions that will be offered this month.
