Fame is nice, but what about infamy? Edgy Pages is a club for exploring books that are the stuff of controversy and scandal, or inherently provocative.

In celebration of Colorado’s Sesquicentennial, join us in reading You Better Be Lightning by Colorado Poet Laureate (2023–2025) Andrea Gibson. This powerful poetry collection moves from the deeply personal to the expansiveness of the universe, exploring the full spectrum of human experience—from love and illness to space, politics, climate change, and everything in between.

Registration is required to receive a book. Already read this book? Skip registration and join us for the discussion! All attendees must be 18+. 

Books will be ready for pick-up beginning Tuesday, June 23rd. Books not picked up within 7 days of the pick-up notification email will result in a cancellation of registration to accommodate waitlists.

To cancel your registration, please email programs@clearviewlibrary.org or call the library (970-686-5603) at least 24 hours before the book club date. Books must be returned on or before the book club date. 

Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
