Weird Science offers kids the opportunity to explore the crazy world of STEM through experimentation, teamwork, creativity, inquiry, and innovation!
From your phone and television to streetlights and clocks, circuits are all around us! You may not know it, but many of the items that we use on a daily basis utilize circuits to make them work. Participants of this session of Weird Science will create a paper clip circuit of their own to take home with them.
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that, moving forward, we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Weird Science. Weeks three and four of Weird Science will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
