Lil STEAM

Gravity Science!

Each month in Lil STEAM, we will read a story and then explore a theme from the story with a STEAM related activity.

Get ready, get set, jump as high as you can! Why didn’t you stay up in the air? Gravity! What is gravity? How does it work? We are going to explore these questions and more during this session of Lil STEAM. We will read the book Cosmo Zooms by Arthur Howard and then explore gravity in stations, including 'what rolls down a ramp?', 'gravity drip art', and 'can you defy gravity?'.

For ages 3-5. Registration required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name.

Lil STEAM is offered twice a month. The same program theme will be offered in each instance; we kindly ask that you register for only one offering per month so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program. This week we will be meeting in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library. 

Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity.
