Learn how to make and maintain a sourdough starter!
Homemade bread….yes please! Participants in this class will learn the fundamental techniques required to craft their own delicious sourdough bread. Participants will gain knowledge on creating and sustaining a sourdough starter, which is the building block of an exceptional sourdough loaf. Additionally, we will discuss how to determine when the starter is ripe for use and provide suggestions for utilizing the discard. The course will cover the various stages of the sourdough baking process, such as mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking. Tasting samples will be provided!
