Young Scientists is a program for kids who want to explore and learn about the world around them through experimentation and inquiry!
Surface tension is a phenomenon that has a variety of fascinating effects on liquids. It allows water striders to walk on the surface of water, determines the formation of water droplets, and more! But what is surface tension, and how does it actually work? Find out in this session of Young Scientists!
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We will meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Young Scientists. Weeks three and four of Young Scientists will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
