Getting Crafty offers kids the opportunity to tap into their creativity through critical thinking, imagination, and artistic expression!
Join us this week wearing clothes/shoes that can get messy! Vexillology, or the study of flags, is a topic that many people may not be familiar with, even though we see flags everywhere. While the concept of a flag may seem simple, flags present a surprising amount of symbolism and meaning. Today in Getting Crafty we will create flags of our very own for future vexillologists to marvel at!
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. This week we’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Getting Crafty. Weeks three and four of Getting Crafty will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
