Clearview Homeschooler's Academy (CHA) is a monthly program that offers hands-on activities and prompts based around STEAM learning.
As Autumn approaches and leaves start to fall from trees, you might notice more bird nests! Did you know that some birds weave their nests? Sociable Weavers are known for their intricate nests made from sticks, straw, dry, grasses, cotton, fluff, and other soft materials. Pigeons are known for their resourcefulness, making flimsy nests out of sticks. Join us in the quest to build a nest, taking our inspiration from the genius, artful, or scrappy, engineering of birds!
For ages 5+. Registration required. Please register separately for each participant. We will meet in the Pikes Peak meeting room at the library for this program.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity.
