Lego Club offers kids the chance to take part in creativity, problem solving, innovation, and teamwork with Legos!
Our challenge for this session of Lego club is inspired by the book Snowmen at Night by Caralyn Buehner. What do you think snowpeople do at night after everyone goes to bed? Maybe they get in snowball fights, practice their ninja moves, or lay on a beach somewhere eating ice cream. Your challenge will be to create a 2D snowperson; you will be given a card to inspire you, plus extra white bricks. You will also build a scene on another baseplate depicting what your snowperson does at night. We will get to see everyone’s work at the end of Lego Club.
Please be aware that we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Lego Club. Weeks three and four of Lego Club will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
Please note that due to a programming break, there are only two sessions that will be offered this month.
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. We’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
