Reading Bugs is a 4-week book club that fosters the love of books and reading and provides an engaging environment for 6-8 year olds to communicate, learn, make and play.
Join us online for Reading Bugs Fridays at 4 p.m. We will be reading Rescue on the Oregon Trail: Ranger in Time #1 by Kate Messner.
Registration is required. Please note that you only need to register once for the entire series, however please register each child separately.
Meet Ranger! He's a golden retriever who could have been a great search-and-rescue-dog, except for the squirrels -- but one day he unearths a mysterious box and finds himself transported back to the year 1850 where his faithful service is really needed by a family traveling west along the Oregon Trail.
Kits for this online program will be available for pickup beginning Friday, July 5, and will include a free copy of the book, as well as supplies for activities and crafts that will take place during the program. You may pick up your kit at the library (Windsor or Severance branch) during our regular hours. If you would like to pick up your kit from the bookmobile email Christy: christy@clearviewlibrary.org.
Once you have registered for the program, we will send you a link to join the book club via Zoom every Friday at 4 p.m., July 12 - August 2, 2024.
Photographs taken during virtual library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please turn your camera off when a picture is taken.
