Getting Crafty offers kids the opportunity to tap into their creativity through critical thinking, imagination, and artistic expression!
A fun way to reduce our carbon footprint and impact on our planet is to get creative by upcycling. This week in Getting Crafty, we will be practicing upcycling by making eye-catching suncatchers for Earth Day. Participants can hang their suncatcher in a window as a reminder to think about helping the Earth!
For ages 6-12. Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name. This week we’ll meet in the Pikes Peak room in the Windsor-Severance Library.
Please be aware that we we are offering the same program activity during weeks one and two of Getting Crafty. Weeks three and four of Getting Crafty will also feature the same program activity, but a different activity from weeks one and two. Therefore, we kindly ask that you register for either week one OR two and either week three OR four so as to allow the greatest number of people possible to enjoy this popular program.
