Join us at the Severance Library for a time-traveling cooking class focused on Colorado’s historical recipes! Open to elementary-aged children and tweens ages 9-12.
Our Dig In! summer series is part of our Summer Adventure Program: Unearth a Story. Each program is unique and will offer a variety of experiences. Programs will be held on Tuesday afternoons at Windsor Library and Thursday afternoons at Severance Library.
In this cooking class, we’ll recreate historical Colorado recipes found in newspaper clippings and cook books from the 1800s and early 1900s. We’ll grind wheat for fresh-baked flat bread and stir-up a lemonade recipe passed down from a traveling circus performer!
Registration is required. Please register each child separately that will be attending the program using the child's first and last name.
Photographs taken during library events may be used for Clearview Library District publicity. If you would like to opt out, please let the photographer know at the time the picture is being taken.
